Dr. Vaibhav Vira is a highly skilled and dedicated Physiatrist (PM&R Specialist) with extensive experience in neurorehabilitation, pain management, and functional recovery. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life.
He holds an MD in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), supported by a strong foundation of MBBS, which reflects his comprehensive medical training and clinical expertise. Further strengthening his specialization, he has completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, with advanced proficiency in Electromyography (EMG), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), and Evoked Potentials (EP). This allows him to accurately diagnose and manage complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
He has been associated with AIIPMR (All India Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation), one of India’s premier government rehabilitation institutes, known for excellence in multidisciplinary rehabilitation care.
Dr. Vira has worked with reputed institutions including MGM Medical College & Hospital, Navi Mumbai, and HCAH, Kharghar, where he has managed a wide spectrum of rehabilitation cases. His areas of expertise include stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, pediatric rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
He follows a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to design personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
